Mr. Alan Durrant

Mr. Alan Durrant is a Senior Executive Director of GFH and Head of Asset Management at Gulf Finance House, having joined in April 2007.  Previously he was Chief Investment Officer and Chairman of the Investment Committee at Skandia Investment Management in the UK with responsibility for over $10bn of assets spread across global equities, direct property, property securities and bonds.

During his tenure at Skandia, the company won the coveted Financial Adviser Multi-Manager of the Year award in three consecutive years and was amongst the fastest growing financial services businesses in the United Kingdom .  Prior to Skandia, Mr. Durrant was Investment Director of Hargreaves Lansdown, the UK 's most successful investment broker. 

He graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in Economics
